Explore our 2026 hosted expeditions, from remote saltwater flats in Fanning Island to epic freshwater adventures in New Zealand and The Sea-Run Sessions in Southern Patagonia.
Each trip is carefully curated by Isolation Outfitters with detailed planning, expert guides, the best lodges (and a rustic cabin in NZ), great food, guaranteed laughter and camaraderie – plus plenty of premium fishing gear provided for you to try out.

At Isolation Outfitters, we offer a complete fly fishing program for saltwater ands freshwater anglers.
We specialize in unique small team expeditions, so you can chase freshwater and saltwater trophies in beautiful remote global locations, such as New Zealand, Patagonia, Mexico and the Pacific Islands. We have six hosted trips planned over the next year.
Our concierge service provides for a journey itinerary and bookings at the lodges we recommend across accessible angling destinations including Mexico, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, and Patagonia with partner lodges in Argentina and our own Las Segadas Lodge in Chile.

THREE DAY HELIFISH, NEW ZEALAND
Our multi-day guided expeditions are limited to two anglers. Helicopter transfer deep into a remote South Island wilderness tributary, utilizing rustic backcountry huts as our base and riverside tent camps to fish isolated headwaters for large New Zealand Brown Trout. We can supply all fly fishing tackle, and camping gear. This is exploration angling at its finest and a heck of an adventure!

NEW: LAS SEGADAS LODGE OPENS 2026
Isolation Outfitters has exclusive access onto an estancia on the banks of the famed Rio Grande, Tierra del Fuego in Southern Patagonia. Here you can fish for large sea-run brown trout and resident rainbows. Fly down to Punta Arenas and stay at Las Segadas Lodge. This isolated fly fishing lodge caters for up to six anglers (5 double bedrooms, each with ensuite).

FANNING & CHRISTMAS ISLANDS: APRIL 2026
Imagine two weeks on two remote atolls, chasing BIG bonefish, monstrous Giant Trevally, Bluefin Trevally, Bumphead Parrotfish and those pesky Triggerfish.
Strictly limited to up to six adventurous anglers who want to fish endless flats up to 10 hours a day, for 12+ days, across two unforgettable island atolls.

IT'S GRAND SLAM TIME IN MEXICO
Saltwater’s Grand Slam of Permit, Bonefish and Tarpon is achievable on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. Fly into Tulum or Cancun and we’ll take it from there.
We’re running a one week hosted trip with one of the top lodges in remote Espiritu Santo Bay and most respected guides around these parts. Date is June 5-12, 2026. Want to join us?

RIO MENENDEZ, WUIJOOR LODGE
Isolation Outfitters has partnered with Argentina’s Wuijoor Lodge to provide a low cost opportunity to fish the Rio Grande and Rio Menendez in the 2026 sea trout season.
We are running a hosted trip down to Tierra del Fuego in late February 2026 for up to six anglers. Expect to battle 7-17lb sea trout during this epic week.
