At Isolation Outfitters, we’ve always sought the edges of the world — the places few have seen, and even fewer have fished. From hidden Andean lakes to extreme coral flats, from windswept rivers to jungle waterways, our passion is discovering fisheries that remain off the map, untouched by crowds or cameras.
Discovery carries responsibility. Once a place is publicized, its solitude changes, sometimes irreversibly. To protect these waters and the experiences they offer, we created The Isolation Club – a private, invitation-only members’ club for anglers who value adventure, skill, and stewardship.
Membership is earned,
not purchased.
The Isolation Club is for those who can travel light, fish thoughtfully, and respect the wildness they encounter. Members gain access to off-the-radar freshwater and saltwater expeditions. Journeys that are ephemeral, logistically challenging, and unforgettable. Some trip venues might last a season, a week, or even a few fleeting days. Some we may never get to return to.

The Isolation Club isn’t about elitism. It’s about preserving special places, sharing them responsibly, and connecting with others who care as much about the experience as the catch. We believe community is important in flyfishing and want to help build relationships between like-minded anglers.

2026 Expeditions
Saltwater: The Isolation Club is currently finalizing team and logistics for a single 2026 trip — exploring a remote South Pacific atoll with only basic amenities and occasional traffic from the outside world.
Freshwater: Our early planning is underway for an exploration at the very bottom of the austral world, chasing oversized (5-6lb) brook trout and huge (10-20lb) brown trout, close in with single handed rods and small flies.
Like all our expeditions, we cannot share, even approximate, locations, outside of our core selected team. However if you’re an advanced angler and ready to fish some of the most remote waters on Earth, we’d love to hear from you and perhaps add you to the list for future consideration.
