    These hosted expeditions are timed to offer a migratory tarpon option in addition to this exceptional all-year around permit/bonefish/juvenile tarpon fishery.

    Hosted by our founder, Michael Gregg who was onsite in May ‘26 – and who will meet you in Cancún or Tulum – these trips provide an opportunity to meet new anglers, try out tackle from Epic, Stickman, Taylor and other boutique rod makers, as well as new lines from Scientific Anglers; all whilst chasing the elusive grand slam of landing a permit, bonefish, and tarpon in one day!

    We’ve spent enough time at the brand new Xcalak Paradise Lodge to be really impressed with their Mayan-inspired cuisine, fabulous staff and exceptional cocktails! We know you will be too.
