FISHING LODGES
We’re anglers first, travel planners second. Like you, we’re busy with work, family, and life – but when it comes time to fish, the experience has to deliver. Nothing kills a trip faster than a bad lodge.
That’s why we’ve spent years exploring, fishing, and refining a short list of destinations we truly trust. We don’t throw a database of options at you; we curate only the lodges we know live up to the adventure.
FLY FISHING LODGES – OUR PARTNERSHIP CRITERIA
We work directly with lodge owners to shape the details, whether it’s wines and fresh fruit waiting at Ikari House in CXI, ultra-premium Epic rods rigged at Las Segadas Lodge in Patagonia, arranging for local tacos at Costa de Cocos in Mexico, or custom menus featuring wild game and local seafood in the back of a New Zealand wilderness valley.
Our specialty? Small, well-planned expeditions built around world-class fishing and lodge experiences that match.

LAS SEGADAS LODGE, TIERRA DEL FUEGO
New water on Tierra del Fuego’s fabled Rio Grande has opened up for the 2025/26 season. Book quickly to secure your week during February or March 2026.
This lodge can only be booked through us at Isolation Outfitters.
Note: Las Segadas Lodge is in Chile, not Argentina, so fly into Santiago and down to Punta Arenas. We’ll meet you at the airport. This lodge has ultra-premium single and double-handed fly rods and reels for our guests to enjoy during their stay with us. -
WUIJOOR LODGE, ARGENTINA
Located in Argentina – on the Isla Grande in Tierra del Fuego – Wuijoor Lodge is situated 60km southwest of the city of Rio Grande, within the grounds of the Estancia Laura. Wuijoor Lodge, was founded in 2023 utilising a remodelled ranch house built in the 1930’s, and caters for up to six anglers with first class dining (see the photo above!).
Fishing is primarily on the fabled Rio Menendez and Rio Grande with other steppe streams accessible in this remote destination. Expect to fish for sea-run Brown Trout up to 12kg (26lb) and resident Brown and Rainbow Trout up to 2kg (4.5lb).
-
WORLD'S END LODGE, TIERRA DEL FUEGO
You simply can’t fly into Ushuaia without driving through to the awe-inspiring and unforgettable World’s End Lodge to fish the stunning Río Irigoyen. This is as remote and isolated as any fly angling trip on earth could be. That’s why we, at Isolation Outfitters, reckon it’s a must-fish destination.
What makes it truly special is the contrast—towering lenga forests sheltering intimate, meandering pools that hold sea trout over 20 pounds. For anglers who crave solitude, scale, and something genuinely different, World’s End Lodge is the next chapter of your Patagonia journey.
-
JURASSIC LODGE, LAGO STROBEL, ARGENTINA
Imagine following up a trip chasing huge sea-run Browns on the Rio Grande with a detour to catch some of the largest Rainbows in the world at Argentina’s Jurassic Lake.
We have partnered with Jurassic Lake Lodge to provide a four night stay as part of a comprehensive package to Argentine Patagonia to fish for both trophy sea-run brown trout and trophy rainbows.

IKARI HOUSE, CHRISTMAS ISLAND
Ikari House is a fabulous fishing lodge on Kiritimati for these reasons – less drive time to boats, priority access to the fast boats, a short walk to shops for fruit/wine/etc, great cooked breakfast, and exceptional kitchen/room staff.
Christmas Island (Kiritimati) is a remote fly fishing atoll with mile‑wide lagoon flats, bonefish by the thousands, giant trevally, triggers, plus offshore tuna and wahoo if you want to ask your boatman to push out beyond the breakers. -
NO NAME FLY LODGE, PUERTO RICO
If you’re looking for shots at aggressive juvenile tarpon, pursuing tailing permit, plus partying hard at a fun location with a few buddies, this is your jam.
From juvenile tarpon crashing bait in backwater lagoons to picky permit tailing across coral rubble flats, Puerto Rico offers year-round opportunity for anglers looking to test their saltwater skills.
